From my painter’s perspective every work I embark on is an exploration of the unknown. Marks develop through an ebb and flow during which I use a lifetime’s practice, bringing together my useof colour and tonality with an ongoing awareness of the works of admired artists. The concept crystallises through the activity of painting, while I try to hold on to my original vision.
