Sally J Fisher

Sally grew up in Bucks and trained in Fine Art at Amersham College of Art, Bucks. She has worked all her life as a painter as well as earning a living as an illustrator, cartoonist and Adult Art Tutor.

She has exhibited extensively since 1988 mostly in London, Winchester and Devon.

She trained as an Adult Art Tutor and began teaching at Camden Working Men’s College, London, in 1998 and taught Anatomy Life and Movement, Still Life, Watercolour and Pastel.

She also taught life drawing, water colour and pastel at Marlborough College Summer School for many years.

Sally has written many articles published in The Artist, and also appears in Harper Collins book ‘Water Colour Problem Solver’.

Her cartoons have appeared daily on Jonathan Cainer’s Horoscope page in various tabloids since 1986 starting with the first ‘Today’ newspaper, and then moving to The Express, The Mirror and The Daily Mail. Her daily cartoon still appears daily on Astrologer Jonathan Cainer’s website.

Sally lived for many years in London where she raised her two sons, then spent eight years in S. Devon, returning to Bucks in 2010.

Sally teaches and demonstrates for many art societies across the UK.
